Dear Friends and Supporters,
After an incredible 12 years at the helm of Earth Trust, I have made the decision to embark on a new chapter in my career and take up fresh opportunities.
During my time at Earth Trust, I have had the privilege of working with talented teams of Trustees, staff, and volunteers who share our vision for a sustainable future and want to make change happen Together, we have grown the impact and strategic direction of Earth Trust, transforming it into an environmental organisation that whilst firmly rooted in Oxfordshire green spaces, speaks to regional and national policy and practice.
I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together. Building on the Trust’s past experience, we are focused on a future sustainable world, recognising the important role of inspiring people through local places and demonstrations of managing land, farming, forestry and natural ecosystems above and below ground.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support, care, and encouragement throughout my time at Earth Trust. Your commitment to our cause has been instrumental in our growth and success. It takes teamwork to transform an organisation, and I am thankful for each and every one of you for being part of this exceptional community.
It has been an honour to serve as your CEO for the past 12 years and before that strategic rebranding the Trust as Director of Development, and I am excited to see Earth Trust continue to flourish in the years to come. I am confident that Earth Trust will continue to grow, thrive, and make a lasting impact to champion accessible natural green spaces where people and nature thrive together.
As I prepare to leave Earth Trust in the first week of July, I am confident that the organisation is well-positioned for continued success. Our Co-Chairs, Frank and Sarah, are leading the recruitment process for a new CEO and exploring interim arrangements to ensure a smooth transition. The role details will be available shortly, and I encourage you to look out for them.
Sincerely,
Jayne Manley, CEO
