Inspiring Learning Through Nature

Fundraising Appeal 22nd-30th April 2021

After a year of lockdowns, remote learning and isolation, many children have struggled to engage with learning and to cope with the uncertainty that the pandemic has brought. So, this Earth Day we’re launching an appeal to help children reconnect, build resilience and be inspired to learn again through nature. We’re working to provide a programme of face-to-face, online and self-led outdoor activities to help children recover. These sessions and online resources could reach and inspire 600 children in person and thousands online – but we need your help to make it a reality.

Our new, sustainably-built Earth Lab is nearly ready to welcome students and inspire environmental learning, and, with your support, our experienced tutors will be able to create online and offline sessions that engage children and young people at all levels.

Thanks to our funding partners, gifts could have twice the impact. The Rowse Family Trust and the Lucy Group have kindly agreed to match the first £5,000 donated before midday on Friday 30th April – doubling the impact of donations.
