Visit Earth Trust this spring for a fun-filled day of outdoor play, nature-based activities and hands-on farming experiences.
This year’s Spring Festival is set to be bigger than ever, with even more on offer to fill your day!
Join us in the farmyard to get up close with our animals, let the little ones take on the giant hay bale and other fun farming activities before heading to the Centre for food, crafts, and more! There’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets: Under 2s free, Adult/child tickets £8, family tickets £30 in advance + booking fee
What you can expect
- ‘Milk’ the play cow, clean the pens, wang a welly, climb the giant hay bale, race your hobby-horse down the track… it’s all a-go in our Field of Fun!
- Watch our sheep shearer in action alongside wool weaving demonstrations
- Follow the Tractor Trail to win a prize and try your hand at our free spring craft activities
- Get up close with the Owl Conservation Project for a pellet dissection and owl meet-and-greet (Sat & Sun only) and meet the beekeepers with their buzzy friends
- Delve into an immersive sensory garden, especially for SEND children
- Explore the Arboretum on a bug pebble hunt challenge
- Settle down for storytelling in our beautiful gardens

New to 2025: Be a Farmer Experience!
New this year is a VIP opportunity for small visitors to have an up-close farming experience, including:
- Bottle-feed the lambs
- Collect eggs from the chicken coop
- Meet the cows and newborn calves
- Special spring craft activity
£15 per child (includes 1 free adult ticket). 10.30-11.30am every day. Suitable for ages 3+
Only 10 spaces available per day – advance booked essential with an admissions ticket. Select this add-on when you buy your event tickets.
Essential information
- Booking in advance is advisable. Advance booking closes 1 hour before each session.
- Tickets are available to purchase on the day at the farm gate.
- All tickets are non-refundable. Please email us if an issue prevents you from attending.
- Sorry, no dogs allowed due to livestock on site.
- Pregnant women should avoid contact with our livestock.
- Handwashing facilities will be provided – please encourage your children to use them!
