Family Pottery Workshop
Join our creative pottery workshop to craft illuminated winter decorations from clay!
Bring your family along for a fun and creative pottery workshop where kids and parents can make their own glowing winter tealight holder.
Supported by local artist Nicola Fielding, you’ll design charming personal pieces that light up with the magic of the season, using simple tools and a range of winter-inspired soft blue and frosty white colours. A beautiful piece of art to take home, or your handmade tealight holders could also make great Christmas gifts.
No experience needed. This workshop is perfect for all ages. All materials are provided, so just bring your imagination and get ready to enjoy some glowing family time!

Location: Earth Lab at Earth Trust Centre
Price: One adult and one child, £40 (plus booking fee). Extra participants £15 each
Suitability: This workshop is designed for families with children aged 4+
Spaces are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Fired pieces will be ready to collect from 14th December.
About the Artist
Nicola Fielding was Earth Trust’s Artist in Residence in 2024. Working with ceramics, she loves experimenting and creates her own slip from locally sourced natural materials.
Her artwork is inspired by the incredible and diverse wildlife that can be found living alongside us in Oxfordshire. She draws attention to vulnerable wildlife species, aiming to inspire others to strengthen their own connections to the natural world.
