Invaders and Settlers

Human History learning experiences

Escape the classroom and travel back in time.

Immerse your pupils in the history of their local area and bring to life the Anglo-Saxon period.

Explore a landscape that is steeped in history – an area which has been home to settlers for thousands of years.

We will spark curiosity by providing an opportunity to connect with historical ways of life in a tangible way; defending the Kingdom of Wessex from the terrifying Picts and Vikings, grinding grains by hand, and cooking on an open fire.

Learn about Anglo Saxon building techniques and have a go at spinning your own yarn.

Your class will come away from the day inspired and eager to return to the classroom to learn more.
