Volunteer gardener (Earth Lab)

Our new education building, Earth Lab, is complete, and now we need your help in making the surrounding areas beautiful, functional and educational. Each area will tell a story and link to our archaeological finds or education programme, for example with a roman herb garden, Iron Age allotment, pumpkin patch, forest garden and wildflower meadow.

This role will involve?

  • Planting areas around our new education building, Earth Lab
  • Ensuring that all areas are well presented for visitors
  • Weeding, pruning, watering and other general gardening duties
  • Working to deadlines as this is a project-based role.
