Earth Trust welcomes dynamic new trustees to drive ambitious strategy
Earth Trust is delighted to announce the addition of three accomplished new trustees to our Board: Laura Holland, Nicky Whitehead, and Jane Findlay. Each brings invaluable experience and expertise to help guide Earth Trust as we drive forward our ambitious plans to champion accessible natural green spaces.
“We are thrilled to welcome Laura, Nicky and Jane to the Earth Trust Board,” said Jayne Manley, Earth Trust CEO. “We couldn’t have found a better mix of knowledge and passion to help us inspire more communities to address biodiversity loss, climate change, and improve health by connecting people to nature.
“As we embark on delivering our ambitious new strategy, their vision and skills will be invaluable in expanding our influence and impact. I look forward to working closely with them to grow our movement for change.”
Earth Trust is excited to channel the talent and commitment of these three outstanding individuals as we move forward on our mission to address environmental crises through the power of natural green spaces. Their appointment marks an important step in ensuring we have the strategic leadership and governance to achieve our bold goals.
Laura Holland
An experienced communications and engagement specialist, Laura is skilled in strategic marketing, business development, and stakeholder relations. As Director of Strategic Marketing at the Rosalind Franklin Institute, Laura has built brand and communications strategies from the ground up and secured significant partnerships. Her background delivering impactful science and STEM programmes to engage the public aligns perfectly with Earth Trust’s inclusive ethos.
Jane Findlay
A pioneering landscape architect, founding Director of Fira and a Past President of the Landscape Institute, Jane is passionate about inclusive, ‘green placemaking’ that connects diverse communities with the power of landscape and nature. Her expertise in cultural change and broadening participation will help Earth Trust build a strong movement for environmental action.
