Volunteer Programming 2024

Events for Earth Trust volunteers

We run a year-round programme of events and activities exclusively for our volunteers. From training sessions and talks to hone your skills, and webinars to keep you up-to-date on our work, to socials and get-togethers to meet your fellow volunteers.

This page features our volunteer programming schedule for the year, as well as details of the main Earth Trust public programming events so that all the key dates are easy to find, in one place.

Building skills, sharing knowledge

Our Learning & Development programme for volunteers has two strands:

  • walks & talks to keep you abreast of relevant topics, like regenerative farming and nature identification
  • workshops to provide training in practical role-based skills, such as hedgelaying and scything

We aim to provide a series of valuable sessions through the year, fully utilising the expertise and knowledge of our staff and volunteers, and bringing in partners to share their insights and learnings too. Each event is promoted in the Volunteer Bulletin a fortnight in advance, with full details and joining instructions.
