Little Acorns Easter: SEND-Friendly Springtime Adventure
Join us at Earth Trust for a specially designed SEND-friendly Little Acorns Easter session, tailored for children aged 5-10 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This calm and inclusive experience allows children to explore the wonders of spring at their own pace, in a sensory-friendly and supportive environment.
Little explorers can follow a quiet sensory trail through our beautiful gardens, discovering the sights, sounds, and textures of spring. We’ll enjoy hands-on planting activities, sowing seeds and digging in the soil with our kitchen gardeners.
Children can explore our mud kitchen and water play areas, or simply enjoy the natural surroundings in a way that suits them best. Our nature-filled gardens provide a safe space for free and supported play.
We’ll include a visit to meet our adorable new lambs, offering a quiet, small-group experience for children to observe these fluffy spring arrivals.
The session will end with delicious marshmallow s’mores and a story around our cosy fire pit.
This smaller, sensory-friendly session is designed to be calm, welcoming, and flexible, allowing each child to take part in their own way. Spaces are limited to ensure a low-stress, supportive atmosphere.
