Family Mindful Day: The Wonders of Nature
A family mindful day at Earth Trust. Slow down, breathe deeply, and discover the magic of being present in nature – together.
Join us for ‘The Wonders of Nature’, a gentle and grounding Family Mindful Day that invites children and grown-ups alike to explore the beauty of Earth Trust’s Broad Arboretum through mindful attention and creative connection.
Enjoy activities such as a guided walk through the beautiful arboretum, a willow craft session, where you’ll be weaving nature’s materials into simple and beautiful creations, a nature collection to gather natural treasures to take back to the Earth Lab for observation and reflection, and much more.
After the walk, we’ll return to the Earth Trust gardens for story time and lunch together in a peaceful outdoor setting, with sensory activities.

Ages: Suitable for ages 4+. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Location: Earth Trust Centre and Broad Arboretum
Price: £12.50 per child + booking fee (accompanying adults free)

Important information
- Suitable for adults and children over 4 years old.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult (this isn’t a drop-off event).
- Please bring a packed lunch and snacks.
- Please note you only have to book tickets for children, adults attend free and do not have to reserve a space.
- Dress for outdoor exploration – long sleeve tops and long trousers – and be prepared for all weathers: warm/waterproof clothing and wellies
- Our Session Leaders are trained First Aiders and all adult helpers are DBS checked
- You are responsible for the safety of your children at all times
- Please arrive by 9:45am for a prompt start as the four hour experience takes place in various locations.
Parking: Ample free parking is available at Earth Trust Centre
