Food on the Farm

People & Planet learning experiences

Join us for a day on our mixed arable and livestock farm.

During your visit you will walk around the farm to learn about sustainable farming practices. Your class will learn about the arable crops we grow and what they make.

Pupils will have the opportunity to use our quern stone and mill to mill wheat and oats, ‘milk’ our cow and have a go at making butter.

We will also challenge you to calculate how much water it took to produce your lunch!
