Living World, People & Planet
STEM sessions for KS1, 2, 3 and 4 to get students working scientifically to explore and explain our shared planet and sustainable future.
We take classroom-based learning and explore the living world in an outdoor setting, making full use of the woodland, wildflower meadows, farmland, wetlands and heritage sites surrounding our centre.
Our sessions highlight the challenges of sustainable living and how we can make space for nature with experiences to find out where food comes from and the important role of soil for healthy people and planet.
Most of our workshops are a full day (10am-2.30pm) but some can be run as half days, or combined to create a full day of fun and learning.
We offer sessions throughout the year and tailor activities to the seasons.
