The Edible Classroom is Earth Trust’s newest outdoor learning resource! Within this 1.5-acre plot, close to the Earth Trust centre, we have built 80 no-dig market garden beds, and a ‘camp’ with three beautiful weatherproof bell tents. We’ve also created outdoor cooking areas to turn super fresh produce into delicious food, and a large, shaded area for eating it whilst socialising and developing friendships.

We are recruiting volunteers to support this work. If you are interested in small scale commercial production of fruit, vegetables and herbs, this is for you. There is also the opportunity to engage with children and young people in the space as part of our education programme, but that is very much an optional extra!
