Local running club raises vital funds for Earth Trust
Earth Trust is delighted to have received a cheque for £1,600 from Didcot Runners, thanks to funds raised from their annual Didcot 5 race.
The Didcot 5 takes place every July and as well as offering local running enthusiasts the opportunity to take part in a 5 mile ‘fast and flat’ road race or 2 mile fun run, it raises vital funds for the club’s chosen charities. This year we were delighted to be chosen, along with Be Free Young Carers.
Didcot Runners regularly train at the Wittenham Clumps during the summer and their fundraising efforts are a way of saying thank you for maintaining a wonderful, and often challenging, training route!
Huge thanks to the club and to all the runners who participated.
