CEO Announcement

I am sharing some important news, that I wanted our supporters to be amongst the first to know.

After more than 12 incredible years as CEO and at the helm of Earth Trust’s change, I have decided to move on to take up new opportunities.

I am confident that I am leaving Earth Trust at a good time, with an ‘ecosystem’ full of talented, visionary and supportive Trustees, staff and volunteers, and growing communities of individuals and corporate members that all share our cause. It has been a real privilege to lead this organisation’s growth in impact and influence. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together.

I personally and professionally have grown a lot and I’m grateful for all the opportunities my time with the Trust has provided. Together, we have transitioned to becoming an environmental organisation that, whilst firmly rooted in Oxfordshire green spaces, speaks to regional and national policy and practice.

Building on past experience, we are focused on a future sustainable world, recognising the important role of inspiring people through local places and demonstrations of managing land, farming, forestry and natural ecosystems above and below ground.

My last day will be in the first week of July. I am working closely with our Co-Chairs, Frank and Sarah, as they lead the recruitment process for your new CEO and explore interim arrangements to ensure a smooth transition.

I am so grateful for your support, care, and encouragement throughout as Earth Trust has changed to become what it is today. It takes teamwork to transform an organisation, and I am thankful for each and every one of you for being part of this exceptional community.

As always, I look forward to catching up with you and helping with any questions you may have. I am confident that Earth Trust will continue to grow and thrive and make a lasting impact for a sustainable future rich in nature accessible to all.

Please be assured that we will keep you informed about the next steps in this transition process as soon as we have more details to share.
