Adventure Birthdays
Make their next birthday a day to remember!
There is adventure to be found all around Earth Trust Centre! From woodland and wildflower meadows, to rivers and wetlands, we make the most of these glorious green places, full of heritage and wildlife, to create exciting experiences that encourage children to explore and discover, and make memories that last a lifetime.
Earth Trust Adventure Birthdays are centred on the natural world, science and the great outdoors. And when you book your child’s party with us, you’ll be helping our work championing access to green spaces for all.
Party hire details
- Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year
- Up to 20 children per party
- £300 ex vat per half day hire
- 4 hours of space hire, including 2 hours of led activities
- Activities can be tailored for children aged 3-16 years
Booking a minimum of 3 months in advance is recommended.
Afternoon sessions are also available from 14:30 to 18:30 from April to October.

09:00 Arrive at Earth Trust Centre
09:15 Get settled into Earth Lab, set up food etc.
09:45 Party guests arrive
10:00 Birthday adventure time! Led by an Earth Trust team member
12:00 Stop for lunch and free play around the Earth Lab gardens
13:00 Clean up and depart

We create themed, interactive activities that are delivered by our friendly, experienced team. We’ll work with you to conjure a special birthday adventure tailored to your child’s imagination, a day that matches their interests and reflects their abilities.

Explore the ancient history under our feet and get to grips with skills that were essential for survival thousands of years ago.
Flexible spaces, inspired by nature
Nestled at the foot of the iconic Wittenham Clumps, within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Earth Trust Centre is bursting with life and full of nature.
All around Earth Lab, our new, eco building, birds and swallows swoop and red kites soar overhead, the scented herb garden attracts butterflies and bees, and you might even spot a barn owl swooping low at dusk.
You’ll enjoy exclusive use of our entire learning space, including the picnic area, kitchen garden and the Earth Lab atrium for your birthday event. It’s a totally flexible indoor and outdoor space for all kinds of parties that work in any kind of weather.
The enclosed gardens provide an ideal, safe space for play and feasting, with plenty of quiet places for a relaxed chill-out area if needed.
We have free on-site car parking and all our spaces are wheelchair accessible. There are outdoor and indoor toilets and hand washing facilities.

We have all the wide open spaces of the countryside you could wish for around us, with the convenience of a South Oxfordshire location, just 11 miles from Oxford, 18 miles from Reading and with easy access to the M4 and M40.
Sustainability at our heart
As an environmental charity, sustainability is naturally at the heart of everything we do. A biomass boiler heats our spaces, we harvest rainwater and solar panels generate electricity.
