Rivers Day
Earth School Living World learning experiences
Escape the classroom and step into the beauty of the Wittenham Clumps.
This is a day that will immerse your pupils in the great outdoors and give them real life experience of river ecosystems.
We will take a stroll down to the River Thames, discovering woodland, wildflower meadow and wetland habitats along the way. Standing on Day’s Lock, pupils can witness the power of the river as it rushes downstream beneath their feet. No day at Earth Trust is complete without climbing to the summit of the Clumps to take in the picturesque landscape and see how the river has shaped the surrounding area.
