The Innovation Hub is a re-imagining of the existing learning barn, which is set to become a flexible space with a welcome and orientation area for visitors alongside multi-use office spaces.
We are thinking longer term and creating a space within the barn for what we hope will be a small farm shop, to sell locally sourced and produced food and other goodies. Short term, this will be used flexibly for events including art exhibitions.
Work carried out so far includes installation of roof windows and internal partition walls.
A new external staircase to the barn is being fabricated by Broadleaf Joinery based in Thame. Broadleaf were founded in 1993, by brothers Neil and Anthony Watts, and they were selected for this project for their flexible approach and ability to source local material. Their work has seen them rewarded with several Oxford Preservation Trust Awards.
