Outdoor Explorer Camp – May Half Term
This May half-term, let your child explore a world of adventure at our Outdoor Explorer Camp!
Set amongst the meadows, woodlands and historic hilltops of Wittenham Clumps, our daytime camp is designed to give children aged 7–13 a chance to connect with nature, try new skills, and enjoy unforgettable outdoor experiences.
Dates: Tuesday 26th, Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th and Friday 29th May
Times: 9am-4pm (Drop-off – between 8:45am and 9:00am | Pickup – between 3:30pm and 4:00pm)
Location: Earth Trust Farm, OX14 4QZ
Day Tickets: £55 per child
Food and drinks: Please ensure that your child brings a snack, packed lunch and refillable water bottle.
Learn new skills, make friends and explore the outdoors
With expert instructors to guide them, across the four sessions children will have the chance to:
🔎 It’s expedition time! Discover lost treasures long since buried in our landscape, and explore our ancient woodlands and wetlands where wildlife hides in plain sight!
🔥 Campfire cooking – smores, flatbreads, jams and pizza – something different everyday
🧭 Team games, capture the flag, hi-viz tag or orienteering
🪵 Try your hand at nature crafts like pebble painting
🔥 Or have a go at bushcraft skills – den building, fire lighting, and knots
🤝 Make new friends through teamwork and adventure
Each day offers varied activities, so whether you book a single day or the full four-day experience, there will always be something new to discover. This is a physical day spent outdoors, so children need to be up for the challenge!
