Join us for an inspiring evening with Countryfile presenter, journalist, and author, Tom Heap, as he reflects on insights from his recent books and discusses his concern for nature action within the current political climate.
‘Landsmart’ and ’39 Ways to Save the Planet’, authored by Tom Heap, have revealed inspiring individuals finding ways we can solve our nature and climate crises. But Tom is now questioning what has happened to our collective will to do them?
When it comes to our environment, the political headlines are all about denial and reversal. Tom discusses his belief that concern for our natural world has ended up on the wrong side of populism; “We are being gas-lighted and the fightback starts tonight.”
Tom Heap’s books will be available to purchase on the night, with a book-signing opportunity at the end of the talk.
