Our amazing fundraisers

Bib's inspiring plant stand

Bib used her passion for bringing people together and her love of the outdoors to raise over £2,500! She collected donations for plants that she grew and sold from outside of her home, also encouraging people to stop by for a chat by placing a bench next to her stall.

“It’s about creating a space where everyone feels welcome. Knowing that I’m making a  contribution to supporting Earth Trust and raising awareness is really rewarding” says Bib.

Richard's birthday fundraiser

Richard raised over £2,000 after asking for donations to Earth Trust instead of presents for his birthday! He held his party in Fison Barn, complete with a sunny stroll to Broad Arboretum, and we created a bespoke fundraising page for his guests to donate to.

He says: “I was pleased to hire Fison Barn as a longtime supporter of Earth Trust. At my age, I have little need of presents, so instead I asked for donations and I’m pleased to say my guests were very generous.”

The Deadly Dozen challenge

Tan, Nic, Lorna and Amy challenged themselves to the Deadly Dozen for the first time. They managed to raise over £1,000 for Earth Trust with a JustGiving page they shared, and found a new hobby along the way – bagging a podium spot for their efforts!

“Call us crazy, but we have loved the challenge! Our favourite part was training at the Clumps. The support from Earth Trust staff was amazing, and it was so much easier to fundraise than we expected.“

Victoria's Oxford Half Marathon

Victoria was motivated to run the Oxford Half Marathon for Earth Trust after she moved to the area and discovered our landscapes. She raised £612 on her JustGiving page by asking friends, families, and colleagues for support.

“Earth Trust means a huge amount to me. Whether I’m walking along Radley Lakes or taking in the breathtaking views from Wittenham Clumps, these places ground me, recharge me, and connect me to nature.”
