What should I expect from Oxford Half Marathon?
A fast and flat route, which is a fantastic challenge for beginners as well as experienced runners.
It begins in the city centre on Broad Street, where you can take in beautiful landmarks such as the Sheldonian Theatre and the Bodleian Library. It passes through Old Marston village, past the River Cherwell and Oxford University’s impressive Lady Margaret Hall, before finally finishing on Parks Road. Live entertainment, DJs and a cheering crowd will keep you running to the finish line!
Why is the fundraising target £210?
This fundraising ask is representative of 6 hours of specialist land and habitat management, which drives our work innovating for nature restoration and supporting nature and people to thrive together.
What do I need to do to secure my place?
Please reply to your welcome email from us within two weeks of receiving it.
Once you receive your invitation to register for your place via the Oxford Half Marathon organisers, please complete your registration within four weeks.
If either of these steps are missed, we will free up your place and offer it to our waiting list.
What are my commitments?
As a charity, we are covering the cost of your entrance to the Oxford Half Marathon, but we rely on your fundraising to keep our work going. Because of this we ask you to make the following commitment:
If you’re fundraising, you commit to raising £210, where 50% of funds must be raised by 10th September 2027 (one month prior to race day)
If you’re donating, you commit to making a one-off donation of £210 or greater by 10th September 2027 (one month prior to race day)
I've already got my place, but I'd like to join Team Earth Trust
If you are already successfully registered to run the race and would like to select us as your chosen charity, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll add you to Team Earth Trust.
We won’t be able to give you a free place at that point, but we can support your fundraising journey and give you your Earth Trust goodies too!
