Join the community helping nature and people thrive

Whether you want to spend more time outdoors, support nature’s recovery, share your skills or help future generations connect with the natural world, there’s a place for you at Earth Trust.

Every day, people help care for the Wittenham Clumps landscape and nature reserves and create opportunities for others to experience nature. They volunteer, become members, make donations, fundraise and partner with us.

Together, we’re restoring habitats, inspiring future generations and showing what’s possible when people and nature thrive side by side.

Get involved your way

Volunteering

Volunteer with us

Become part of a dedicated community of people who care for the landscape and help bring Earth Trust to life.

Our volunteers support everything from habitat restoration and wildlife monitoring to events, learning programmes and visitor experiences. Some join us every week. Others help when they can. There’s no single way to get involved.

Every volunteer plays a vital role in helping us care for the landscape, support wildlife and create meaningful experiences for the people who visit, learn and spend time here.

You could:

  • Help care for habitats and wildlife
  • Welcome visitors and support events
  • Learn new skills and share existing ones
  • Meet like-minded people
  • Spend more time outdoors

What your support makes possible

The landscape around the Wittenham Clumps is a real, working landscape where farming, wildlife, heritage and public access come together. It’s a place where people can experience nature-friendly land management in action and see the difference it can make.

Every membership, donation, fundraising challenge, partnership and volunteer hour helps us:

  • Care for wildlife-rich habitats
  • Restore and protect special places
  • Welcome visitors to the landscape
  • Connect children and young people with nature
  • Create opportunities for people to learn, explore and take action

Most importantly, you’re helping us show what’s possible when nature and people thrive together.
