Over the winter broadleaved trees lose their leaves and flowers, which makes them harder to identify. This course will help you to identify some of the more common species found in Oxfordshire by looking at various features such as buds, twigs and bark.
During this practical course we will be making use of the Broad Arboretum. This collection of trees on the Earth Trust Farm is home to all species native to the county.
This course is suitable for complete beginners. Please note that this course is suitable for adults.
Refreshments including tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Please note that booking will close at 5pm on Friday 8th February.
