Earth Trust is delighted to welcome back The HandleBards, the world’s first cycling theatre company! Since 2013, their two troupes (one all-male, the other all-female) have pedalled over 6000 miles across the UK to perform their unique brand of “charmingly chaotic, environmentally sustainable, bicycle-powered Shakespeare”.
Enjoy the girls troupe performing Romeo and Juliet on Tuesday 17th July and/or join us for the boys performance of Twelfth Night on Friday 29th June (discounts available when booking for both plays).
Join the all-female troupe in the beautiful gardens of the Earth Trust Centre, at the foot of the Wittenham Clumps, for their interpretation of Romeo and Juliet. Bring a picnic and settle down for an evening of “gloriously eccentric” outdoor theatre.
A selection of alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase from our bar ahead of the performance and during the short interval.
