Our summer holiday activities this year are FREE thanks to the generous donations of those who supported our Spring Appeal. All the sessions will be led by one of our experienced environmental education tutors.
Please come ready to have fun, wearing appropriate clothes and footwear for the weather on the day – the sessions will go ahead come rain or shine!
All children must be accompanied by an adult but please only 1 adult per child if possible. The terrain is suitable for off road buggies but not scooters. Toilets will be available and you are welcome to picnic on site before or after the session (no food or drink will be available to be purchased).
- Aimed at KS1 and lower KS2 (approx. 5-8year olds)
- Times – Thursday afternoons 2-4pm throughout August
- Each week will be look at a different habitat, what lives in it and how they adapt to that home, and then how we can all help protect that habitat by doing something practical in our own homes and gardens.
- Week 1 – Ponds
- Week 2 – meadows
- Week 3 – woodland
- Week 4 – the earth
- Up to 25 children, with max 1 adult per child
