Become a Trustee of Earth Trust

Our Trustees enable us to function as a charity, we literally couldn’t exist without them! Would you like to help govern this wonderful charity? We are looking to add some Trustees to our Board to bring in some additional experience with regard to volunteering, fundraising and development of visitor destinations.

What does the role involve?

Please see the following role descriptions for further details on the roles available:

Trustee (Volunteering)

How will the office team support me?

You will be fully supported by the Earth Trust Team and will receive a full induction giving you the opportunity to understand the governance structure and responsibilities and to learn about the organisation’s work.

How much time do I need to commit?

Regular attendance at (and reading in advance of) quarterly Board meetings, quarterly Committee meetings and more ad hoc attendance at some events/activities.

Benefits of this role

You will be coming to volunteer  in the beautiful setting of our Little Wittenham site at the heart of our working farm. Your work is fundamental to the functioning of Earth Trust and the delivery of our mission to give people access to and experience of the environment through the natural green spaces we manage and together understand what we can do to care for the planet.
