Back to School with Earth Trust!

We are delighted to announce that, after a summer of planning and designing, our engagement team are launching their refreshed Earth School sessions this term!

Education at Earth Trust

At Earth Trust we have been running educational visits for schools for over 35 years. Our refreshed sessions offer a wide variety of opportunities for all school-aged children to learn outside the classroom and experience a day they won’t forget!

We have a dedicated team of Earth School Tutors who specialize in outdoor learning and countryside skills. Our location and environment are our best teaching tools and every workshop we run is based in the outdoors.

We are lucky to boast the site of an Iron Age hill fort, SSSI woodland, grassland and river Thames all within walking distance of our main site!

Hands-on archaeology!

As part of our archaeology season this October, we are delighted to be teaming up with DigVentures to run a limited number of school archaeology sessions as part of the archaeology season at Earth Trust! School groups will be guided around the dig by expert archaeologists, have the opportunity to handle artefacts and identify bones in a session designed to capture their imagination! Find out more!

If you’d like to bring a group to Earth Trust with a school, club or independently please get in touch with our team via our education page.
